Kevin Brice went 1-3 as the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (20-12) took home a 2-1 victory over the North Shore Navigators (19-14) in seven innings at Fraser Field on Saturday.

Mike Parmentier put together a nice outing. Parmentier held the North Shore Navigators hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Tim Superko was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Marthas Vineyard Sharks batters and allowing one run.

Chris Weiss improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Trevor Massey couldn't get it done on the mound for the North Shore Navigators, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
