The Pittsfield Suns need walk-off single to beat the Nashua Silver Knights, 4-3

A walk-off single from Ryan Olmo brought home the winning run for the Pittsfield Suns (4-2) in a 4-3 victory over the Nashua Silver Knights (4-2) at Wahconah Park on Thursday.

Olmo got on base four times in the game for the Pittsfield Suns. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first, sixth, and ninth innings.

Connor Johnson had an impressive outing against the Nashua Silver Knights' lineup. Johnson held the Nashua Silver Knights hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Peyton Taylor got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Ryan Campbell ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
