Monday was a great day for Ryan Sullivan, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Nashua Silver Knights (4-2) to a 14-5 victory over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (2-5) at Doyle Field.

The Nashua Silver Knights blew out the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs thanks to 14 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Nashua Silver Knights scored four runs in the sixth on the Nashua Silver Knights scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Manny Cruz, an RBI single by Ben Bengtson, an RBI single by Bengtson, and a passed ball.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs had no answer for Justin Snyder, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Snyder gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Justin Silvestro racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings and homered in the ninth inning.

Steve Colella was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out one.

Erik Ostberg, Bengtson, Sullivan and Cruz helped lead the Nashua Silver Knights. They combined for 10 hits and nine RBIs.
