The Wareham Gatemen (3-1) and the Bourne Braves (0-4) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Wareham Gatemen that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-2 win at Spillane Field.

Jay Jabs led the Wareham Gatemen's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning.

Stephen Woods Jr. brought the heat against the Bourne Braves during his outing. Woods Jr. gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Camden Duzenack had a hot bat for the Bourne Braves. Duzenack went 3-5. He singled in the first, third, and ninth innings.

Alex Robles (0-1) took the loss for the Bourne Braves. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
