John Goodrich went 4-4 at the plate as the Champion City Kings (22-30) took home a 4-3 victory over the Chillicothe Paints (33-20) at Davidson Stadium on Thursday.

Pete Munger kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the Chillicothe Paints batters. Munger allowed no earned runs, three hits and four walks over seven innings.

Tom Colletti (3-3) took the loss for the Chillicothe Paints. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
