The Danville Dans scored in the seventh on a two-run single by Logan Steinberg, an RBI double by Jason Gamble, an RBI single by Michael Blasko, an RBI double by Grant Mayeaux, an RBI double by Zackary FIelds, an RBI double by FIelds, and an RBI single by Joey Fiske.

Fiske led the Danville Dans' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI.

Drew Quinones reached base four times in the game for the Springfield Sliders. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Connor Mitchell got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Mitchell struck out three, walked four and gave up one hit.

Mike Ringer couldn't get it done on the bump for the Springfield Sliders, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
