The Regina Red Sox (26-14) and the Yorkton Cardinals (17-22) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Regina Red Sox capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-4 win at Currie Field.

Geoff MacDonald did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Regina Red Sox, reaching base three times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He tripled in the fourth inning.

Nick Gotta was hot from the plate for the Yorkton Cardinals. Gotta went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Kevin Hand got the win, running his season record to 7-3. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. Hand struck out three, walked none and gave up 10 hits.

Codi Scanlon couldn't get it done on the hill for the Yorkton Cardinals, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
