Rob Fonseca drove in three runs, sparking the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (2-4) to a 7-2 victory in seven innings over the Wareham Gatemen (1-5) on Sunday at Red Wilson Field.

Willie Calhoun was hot from the plate for the Wareham Gatemen. Calhoun went 3-4. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Dimitri Kourtis improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He allowed one run over three innings. Kourtis struck out four, walked one and gave up three hits.

Ryan Williamson (0-1) took the loss for the Wareham Gatemen. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
