Kevin McCanna kept the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (0-3) off the board during his six innings of work and the Falmouth Commodores (1-2) beat the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, 3-0.

McCanna struck out four and allowed no walks and one hit.

It was a good day at the plate for the Falmouth Commodores' Austin Afenir. Afenir went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Kevin Duchene ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
