Sweeney's walk-off solo home run send the Evansville Otters home winners, 5-4

A walk-off solo blast from Chris Sweeney brought home the winning run for the Evansville Otters (47-30) in a 5-4 victory over the Washington Wild Things at Bosse Field on Friday.

Sweeney racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Evansville Otters. He singled in the second and third innings and homered in the ninth inning.

Shayne Houck had three extra-base hits for the Evansville Otters. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Jim Vahalik racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Washington Wild Things (48-31). He homered in the sixth innings.

Anthony Collazo improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Evansville Otters. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Alfonso Yevoli (2-4) took the loss for the Washington Wild Things. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
