The River City Rascals (2-0) and the Rockford Aviators (0-2) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the River City Rascals capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-5 win at Aviator Stadium.

Saxon Butler blasted two home runs for the River City Rascals. Butler went 2-5 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Butler homered in the second, third, and third innings.

Jose Martinez racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rockford Aviators. He singled in the first, third, and ninth innings.

Chandler Jagodzinski recorded his first win of the year for the River City Rascals. Jagodzinski struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Kyle Brueggemann couldn't get it done on the hill for the Rockford Aviators, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.
