The Okotoks Dawgs drub the Weyburn Beavers, 8-2

The Okotoks Dawgs (17-16) pounded the Weyburn Beavers (14-19) on Monday 8-2 at Tom Laing Park.

The Okotoks Dawgs scored two runs in the seventh on the Okotoks Dawgs scored in the seventh on a single by Brendan Rose, an RBI single by Blake Patterson, and an RBI single by Patterson.

Ellis Kelly racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He singled in the fifth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Conor Lillis-White improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Okotoks Dawgs. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Dylan Deavey was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked six and struck out four.
