Bryan Niedbalski had two extra base hits as the Quincy Gems (23-11) took home a 4-2 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen (15-18) in seven innings at Qu Stadium on Saturday.

Jake Busiek put together a nice outing. The Hannibal Cavemen managed just one hit off of Busiek, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Zach Nichols racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Hannibal Cavemen. He homered in the first inning.

Travis McDonald (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
