The Hannibal Cavemen (3-5) took home a marathon 3-2 victory over the Springfield Sliders (2-7) on Friday at Robin Roberts Field.

With the score tied at two, Jake Mangler came to the plate and singled, bringing home J. Golden.

Mangler pushed the Hannibal Cavemen ahead, in the eleventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out.

The Springfield Sliders' lineup had no answer for Josh Tols. Tols held the Springfield Sliders hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six.

Carl Brice recorded his first win of the year for the Hannibal Cavemen. He allowed two runs over six innings. Brice struck out 10, walked four and gave up six hits.

TR Dunne couldn't get it done on the hill for the Springfield Sliders, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
