Steve Moss went 1-1 as the Sugar Land Skeeters (29-6) took home a 5-2 victory over the Lancaster Barnstormers (16-19) at Clipper Magazine on Saturday.

Matt Wright picked up the win for the Sugar Land Skeeters. Wright pitched six innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out three.

Daryle Ward racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Nate Reed looked sharp on the mound. Reed held the Sugar Land Skeeters hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Will Savage couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Lancaster Barnstormers, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
