Early lead gives the El Dorado Broncos easy victory over the Park City Rangers, 10-1

The El Dorado Broncos (3-1) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Park City Rangers (2-2), recording a 10-1 victory on Tuesday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

With eight runs in the first three innings, the El Dorado Broncos left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run double by Tyler Coughenour in the first inning and an RBI single by Jordan Slade and an RBI single by Arturo Corona during the second inning fueled the El Dorado Broncos' offense early.

Thomas Henk was solid at the plate for the El Dorado Broncos. Henk went 3-4, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the second and third innings and homered in the fifth inning.

Noah Smallwood's six strikeouts helped the El Dorado Broncos to the victory. Smallwood allowed one earned run, nine hits and two walks over seven innings.

Greg Kuhlman (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.
