Beauprez is a versatile pitcher who can both start or hold down the back end of the bullpen. He finished his second season with the Hurricanes mostly out of the bullpen. In 2015, he made 16 appearances with only four coming in a starting capacity. While he owned a 5.40 ERA, he missed many bats as opponents only averaged .219 off Beauprez this season.

This comes after his 2014 season of dominance, which saw Beauprez end with a 0.83 ERA and opponents hitting a meager .167.

Drafted in 25th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by the Boston Red Sox, he ranked as the No. 128 high school senior nationwide by Perfect Game and was named Rawlings Preseason All-America prior to his senior season at Cherry Creek, where he hit .468 with five homeruns and 26 RBI. He was selected to play in the 2012 Under-Armour All-America Game at Wrigley Field and 2012 Perfect Game All-America Classic at Petco Park. He arned back-to-back First-Team All-Colorado accolades from the Denver Post for final his two seasons.
