Foriest is a native Tennessean who plays his college ball for the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders.
Foriest played at Ensworth High School for two years before moving to Harpeth High School where he played another season.  He missed most of his senior year and all of his Freshman year recovering from Tommy John surgery.  In his second season, he appeared in 15 games with 2 starts and logged a 2-2 record.  He appeared in 13 games this year with 6 starts and an impressive 31 strikeouts in 32 innings.
His good strikeout stuff will be very helpful to the SteepleCats this summer, as will his ability to start and come out of the bullpen.
