Right handed pitcher Bowditch is playing just a stone’s throw away from his college campus the University of Rhode Island. Tyler is a major contributor to URI’s bullpen. This past season, Bowditch appeared in 11 games had three starts.  After 22 innings on the mound he compiled an era of 2.45, with a record of 2-0.He began his collegiate career Mercyhurst University, where he posted 26 strikeouts in 20.1 innings of work. He completed his time at Mercyhurst with a record of 3-0.  The next stop for Tyler was a stint at Miami Dade College prior to transferring to URI.  At Miami Dade he made 11 appearances while posting a 5-3 record. At Holy Name High School, where he earned the honor of being named All-NCL First Team for all four years.  Bowditch was a key to Holy Name’s two District Championships.
