Anderson is back for his second stint with the Gulls in 2013 and is expected to once again platoon with fellow returner Brett Winger at both first base and designated hitter. Anderson batted .310 (40-for-129) with 27 runs scored, 10 doubles, three home runs and 31 RBI in 33 games during the regular season in Newport last summer. Anderson batted .292 (7-for-24) with a team-high three home runs and eight RBI in the NECBL playoffs to lead the Gulls to their fifth NECBL title.
Anderson returns to the City by the Sea coming off a solid junior campaign at Georgetown in which he hit a career-high .274 (51-for-186) with five doubles, one triple, three home runs, 25 RBI and stole five bases in 51 games (48 starts).
In 2012, Anderson appeared in 44 games, starting 35 of them, batting .254 (33-for-130) with 22 runs scored, 12 doubles, three home runs, 15 RBI and one stolen base.  
In 2011, Anderson played in 43 games, starting 36 of them, batting .259 (29-for-112) with 16 runs scored, six doubles, 12 RBI and three stolen bases as a freshman.
