2011 SEASON RECAP
Jeff Flagg joined the team on June 28th to prolong an already extensive professional career. As a Beach Bum Flagg hit .247 with 13 homers and 12 doubles. He also drove in 31 runs while playing multiple infield positions, spending the majority of his time at first base. Flagg was a big bat in the Beach Bums lineup and looks to establish himself as a nightly threat in the middle of the order. He assembled an eight game hitting streak from July 20 - July 27 where he went 10-for-29 with a .344 avg and eight homers.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Before joining the Beach Bums Flagg spent three years in the minor league system of the New York Mets after being drafted in the 27th round of the 2008 draft out of Mississippi State University. He played 45 games for the Rookie Mets in the GCL where he hit .223 with 25 RBI and five homers. In 2009 he spent the greater part of the season with the Kingsport Mets. He hit .301 in 57 appearances with 59 RBI and 10 home runs and was promoted to the A level Savannah Sand Gnats for the end of the season.

Flagg was assigned to the Brooklyn Cyclones of the New York-Penn League in 2010. He appeared in 73 games, hitting .252 with 17 doubles and 52 RBI, earning him a spot in the New York-Penn League's Mid-Season All-Star Game. He then finished off the 2010 season back with the Sand Gnats before joining the Beach Bums for 2011. At Mississippi State, Flagg’s best season came as a sophomore when he hit .312 on the year with 23 RBI and five homers in 35 games.
