This past season he started 13 games and made 14 appearances for Asheville going 2-6 with a 5.31 ERA in 59.1 innings of work, he finished with a career-high mark in strikeouts, 55 and held hitters to a .263 batting average

As a sophomore, Douglas appeared in 14 games for the Bulldogs and made seven starts as well, he finished his second season in Asheville with 22 innings pitched, an 0-3 record with an 8.59 ERA

Douglas began his collegiate career on a high note in the abbreviated 2020 campaign, starting four games and posted a 1-2 record with a 2.74 ERA in 23 innings pitched, he did not allow more than two earned runs in any start as a freshman
