Muffley finished his final season at Parkland College in Champaign, Ill., with a .361 batting average, three home runs and 22 RBIs while scoring 36 runs. Muffley was a big help to the Cobras winning back-to-back Mid-West Athletic Conference championships and the squad earning a No. 3 ranking in the NJCAA D-2 poll. He is a Portage, Mich., native.
