In 2012, Sanchez was a Rawlings-Perfect Game 1st Team All-American. Also a Northeast - All Region first team during his time at George Washington Carver Academy. 

He was a 16th Round selection by the Atlanta Braves in 2012. 

In 2012, playing in the Gulf Coast League for the Braves Rookie System, Sanchez had played in 17 games and in 58 at bats collected 9 hits. 

In 2013 with the same team, he had a .235 batting average through 46 games. He tallied 38 hits, 18 RBI, and 20 runs that season. 

He was promoted to the Danville Braves following the 2013 season, where he hit .262 in 141 plate appearances. He had 37 hits with 18 RBI. 

Sanchez was recently signed to the Birmingham Beavers, now playing in the USPBL. In the 7 games he has played in, he has 7 hits, 3 RBI with a homer.
