Tuesday was a great day for Aaron Tullo, as Tullo pitched eight shutout innings to carry the Edinburg Roadrunners (55-35) to a 4-0 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings (50-39) at Harlingen Field.
The Edinburg Roadrunners were led by Carlos Hereaud's hitting. Hereaud went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and fourth innings and tripled in the ninth inning.
Clint Bowker (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
