Erinzon Bautista held the McAllen Thunder (25-44) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings (39-29) to a 5-4 victory.

Bautista allowed five hits, two walks and struck out two.

The Rio Grande Valley Whitewings staved off the McAllen Thunder as the McAllen Thunder were unable to match the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings down the stretch.

The McAllen Thunder scored on a two-run double by Antoin Gray in the eighth inning and a passed ball and a sacrifice fly by Matt Redding in the ninth inning. Despite their efforts, the McAllen Thunder couldn't get over the hump.

Ruddy Yan racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings. He singled in the first, fifth, and eighth innings.

Brian Murphy (4-5) took the loss for the McAllen Thunder. He lasted just eight innings, walked none, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
