Carlos Hereaud racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Edinburg Roadrunners. He homered in the third inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Gianison Rosa racked up two RBIs on two hits for the McAllen Thunder. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Julio Castro improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Edinburg Roadrunners. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Yunier Colon (0-1) took the loss for the McAllen Thunder. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
