The Fort Worth Cats (11-5) had a tough outing on Saturday, as the Edinburg Roadrunners (9-8) dominated in a 10-4 win at LaGrave Field.
A three-run triple by Carlos Hereaud and an RBI single by Derek Perren helped the Edinburg Roadrunners score four runs in the first. The Edinburg Roadrunners had three hits in the inning.
Hereaud racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Edinburg Roadrunners.
Rusty Jones pitched lights out for the Edinburg Roadrunners. The Fort Worth Cats managed just one hit off of Jones, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Trevor Harden was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out four.
