The Edinburg Roadrunners (48-30) and the San Angelo Colts (38-40) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Edinburg Roadrunners capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-4 win at Edinburg Stadium.

Tim Battle had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and homered in the fifth innings.

Mark Ramos was hot from the plate for the San Angelo Colts. Ramos went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Dave Dineli recorded his fifth win of the year for the Edinburg Roadrunners. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Dineli struck out six, walked two and gave up 10 hits.

Mike Hart (5-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked three and struck out four.
