Leivi Ventura had two extra base hits, helping the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings (21-18) to a 5-2 victory over the San Angelo Colts (21-18) on Wednesday at Harlingen Field.

Luis Noel picked up the win for the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings. Noel pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out four.

Landon Camp rocked the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings with two home runs. Camp went 2-4 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Camp homered in the second and fifth innings.

Mike Hart (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.

The Rio Grande Valley Whitewings' Luis Sumoza, Leugim Barroso and Ventura combined for nine hits and three RBIs.
