Celson Polanco kept the San Angelo Colts (15-17) off the board during his six innings of work and the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings (20-12) beat the San Angelo Colts, 11-6.

Polanco struck out six and allowed one walk and seven hits.

Ruddy Yan had a hot bat for the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings. Yan went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

Cory Patton racked up three RBIs on three hits for the San Angelo Colts. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the sixth and ninth innings.

Brian Henschel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out three.
