The San Angelo Colts survive the Fort Worth Cats rally, escape with 4-2 victory

The Fort Worth Cats (8-4) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the San Angelo Colts (8-4), and the Fort Worth Cats lost 4-2 to the San Angelo Colts after falling behind by three runs in the fifth inning.

The Fort Worth Cats scored one run in the seventh on a groundout by Scott Dalrymple. Despite their efforts, the Fort Worth Cats couldn't get over the hump.

The San Angelo Colts relied on Logan Williamson to eat up innings en route to the win. Williamson allowed no earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out five over 6 2/3 innings of work.

The Fort Worth Cats were led by Chad Gabriel's hitting. Gabriel went 3-4. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Trevor Harden couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Fort Worth Cats, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
