The Fort Worth Cats took the lead in the eighth inning and held on for the victory. A groundout by Jose Ruiz scored Randall Thorpe and Thorpe and gave the Fort Worth Cats the lead for good.
Ruiz racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Fort Worth Cats. He homered in the fourth inning.
