Nick Soldano held the Battle Creek Bombers (21-37) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Lakeshore Chinooks (30-28) to a 5-0 victory.

Soldano struck out four and allowed five walks and two hits.

German Reyes got on base two times in the game for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the eighth inning.

Cole Swanson (1-4) took the loss for the Battle Creek Bombers. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
