The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (1-1) beat the La Crosse Loggers (1-1) 12-3 on Thursday thanks to a seven-run eighth inning.

Brandon Hohl racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Cole Webb picked up the win for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. Webb allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Jesse Holiday (0-1) took the loss for the La Crosse Loggers. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
