The Manitoba (2-2) didn't put up much of a fight on Saturday, as the Trois-Rivi��res (3-0) cruised to a blowout 8-1 win in seven innings at Junior Stade.

A three-run triple by Julien Belanger and an error helped the Trois-Rivi��res score four runs in the fourth. The Trois-Rivi��res had one hit in the inning.

Belanger racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Trois-Rivi��res.

Marc-Andre Blouin's seven strikeouts were enough to push the Trois-Rivi��res past the Manitoba. Blouin allowed no earned runs on three hits and one walk over seven innings.

Riley Penner (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
