The Saskatchewan (1-1) had a tough outing on Friday, as the Qu��bec (2-0) dominated in a 13-3 win in six innings at Junior Stade.

The Qu��bec scored five runs in the fourth on a fielder's choice, a single by Derek Legault, a fielder's choice, a hit by pitch, a wild pitch, , and a sacrifice fly by Samuel Groleau.

Alexandre Beland put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Qu��bec.

Kevin Spenard recorded his first win of the year for the Qu��bec. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Graeme Scott was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out two.
