Duda allowed six hits, no walks and struck out nine.
Rene Leveret went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for the Quebec Capitales. He singled in the first and seventh innings and doubled in the fourth and ninth innings.
Chris Roberston put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. He doubled in the fourth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.
Chris Salamida was charged with the loss. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
