With the score tied at one in the eighth inning, Douglas came to the plate and, plating Stephen Pearson and Anthony Scelfo.Jimmy Mojica racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Laredo Lemurs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the eighth inning.
Leonard Giammanco allowed no earned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out none over six innings of work.
Despite the loss, the Amarillo Sox's Matt Lackie dominated the Laredo Lemurs' batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.
