CJ Ziegler collected three hits as the Wichita Wingnuts (47-34) took home a 4-2 victory over the El Paso Diablos (38-40) at Lawrence Dumont Stadium on Monday.

Derek Blacksher picked up the win for the Wichita Wingnuts. Blacksher allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Luis Chirinos was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Wichita Wingnuts batters and allowing three runs.

Jermy Acey was hot from the plate for the El Paso Diablos. Acey went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Chirinos (3-1) took the loss for the El Paso Diablos.
