The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (43-23) blew out the Gary SouthShore RailCats (30-37) 9-2 on Saturday at Gary, Ind. (U.S. Steel Yard) after pouring on five runs in the ninth inning.

Nic Jackson racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the eighth and ninth innings.

Aaron Shafer struck out seven, paving the way for a the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks win. Shafer allowed one earned run on five hits and two walks over seven innings.

Morgan Coombs ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
