Alberts' sacrifice fly propels the Amarillo Sox past the Laredo Lemurs, 4-1

The Amarillo Sox (33-28) built an early lead against the Laredo Lemurs (26-33), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 4-1 win on Saturday at Amarillo National Bank Sox Stad.

Justin Garcia improved to 6-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Amarillo Sox. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

Mark Haynes couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Laredo Lemurs, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
