The Santa Maria Packers and the Top Speed Baseball (12-13) volleyed the lead five times on Sunday, but the Santa Maria Packers came out on top for a 7-6 win on Sunday at Allen Hancock College.
clark paced the Santa Maria Packers at the plate. Clark went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second and seventh innings.
Jeff Deblieux racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.
Even though Baker allowed six runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory. Baker struck out seven, walked four and gave up nine hits.
Corey Lathram couldn't get it done on the mound for the Top Speed Baseball, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
