Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Friday as the Baltimore Redbirds (21-9) outscored the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (9-22) 14-8.

The two teams combined for 33 hits in the game.

The Baltimore Redbirds blew out the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts thanks to 22 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Baltimore Redbirds scored five runs in the first on an RBI triple by Sean Keselica, an RBI home run by Ian Rice, a solo home run by Rice, an RBI single by Alex Pastorius, and an RBI single by Pat Fitzgerald.

Keselica racked up four RBIs on five hits for the Baltimore Redbirds.

Nick Morton recorded his third win of the year for the Baltimore Redbirds. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. Morton struck out two, walked one and gave up two hits.

James Mills couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.

The Baltimore Redbirds hammered the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 18 hits, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
