Things looked bleak for the Bethesda Big Train (12-10) when they trailed by one run in the ninth inning, but the Bethesda Big Train recovered thanks to a key single in the ninth inning from Michael Bass to pull out a 4-3 win over the Alexandria Aces (12-11) at Frank Mann Field.
With the Bethesda Big Train trailing by one, Bass came to the plate and singled, scoring Cole Norton and Avondre Bollar.
Bass racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Bethesda Big Train. He singled in the ninth innings.
