Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Thursday as the Baltimore Redbirds (10-7) outscored the Vienna River Dogs (8-7) 11-9.
The two teams combined for 31 hits in the game.

The Baltimore Redbirds finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. A hit by pitch and gave the Baltimore Redbirds the lead for good.
The Baltimore Redbirds would not relinquish the lead as the Vienna River Dogs were unable to weather a five-run sixth inning deficit.
The Vienna River Dogs scored on a two-run double by Bobby Rice in the sixth inning, a groundout by Jason Allinder in the seventh inning, and a two-run home run by Kevin Tatum in the eighth inning. Despite their efforts, the Vienna River Dogs couldn't get over the hump.
Even though Chris Ellis allowed six runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. Ellis struck out two, walked none and gave up 12 hits.
Nick Stephens (0-2) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
The Baltimore Redbirds' Parks Jordan, Sean Keselica, Patrick Blair and Blake Crohan combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.
