Patrick Blair drove in the winning run to give the Baltimore Redbirds (7-5) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Baltimore Redbirds hung on to beat the D.C. Grays (4-8) 6-2 on Monday.

After Alex Pastorius was hit by a pitch, Blair came to the plate with the score tied at one in the seventh inning, and tripled, plating Pastorius.

Blair got on base three times in the game for the Baltimore Redbirds. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Corey Taylor kept contact to a minimum, striking out eight the D.C. Grays batters. Taylor allowed no earned runs on three hits and no walks over six innings.

John Beaubien was hot from the plate for the D.C. Grays. Beaubien went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.

Joel Castillo was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
