Clow gives the Southern Maryland Nationals late push to beat the Herndon Braves, 6-3

Andrew Clow drove in the go-ahead run to give the Southern Maryland Nationals (5-6) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Southern Maryland Nationals hung on to beat the Herndon Braves (4-7) 6-3 on Sunday.

After Wes Hoskins was hit by a pitch, Clow came to the plate with two outs in the seventh and doubled, bringing home Hoskins, Joe Giacchino and Spencer Wolfe.

Clow racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Southern Maryland Nationals. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Hoskins racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Southern Maryland Nationals. He homered in the third inning.

Michael Bowie looked sharp on the mound. Bowie gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out three during his three innings of work.
