The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (17-17) and the Sugar Land Skeeters (15-18) exchanged the lead seven times on Thursday, but the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs ended up on top with a 10-7 win over the Sugar Land Skeeters.

Christian Lopez racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Drew Locke racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Nick Green recorded his fourth win for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs even though he allowed six runs over five innings. Green struck out two, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Michael Nix ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
