Gonsoulin stars as the Lethbridge Bulls defeat the Okotoks Dawgs, 12-11

A magnificent effort by Ridge Gonsoulin hoisted the Lethbridge Bulls (19-16) to a 12-11 win over the Okotoks Dawgs (22-12) on Tuesday at Spitz Stadium.

Gonsoulin blasted two home runs for the Lethbridge Bulls. Gonsoulin went 3-4 in the game with five RBIs and three runs scored. Gonsoulin homered in the third and fourth innings.

The Lethbridge Bulls found themselves down in the second inning but managed to fight back and claim the win.

Joel Blake racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Lethbridge Bulls. He singled in the seventh and eighth innings.

The two teams combined for 23 runs and 23 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using eight pitchers in total.

Archie Davis got the win, running his season record to 1-1. Davis struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Matt Thornton (1-2) took the loss for the Okotoks Dawgs. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
